Reality TV shows are always a hit, which is why they are so numerous. When I talk with people concerning reality tv, the best way anyone can describe it is like watching a train wreck. It is not good by any stretch of the imagination, but for some reason you can not look away. So if you are like me and are one of the millions with this guilty pleasure, you might be wondering what are some new Reality tv programs for 2012.
To help make sure you are not stuck out of the loop is a list of the various reality TV shows that will be coming out throughout the years.
The Bachelor: Everyones favorite returns for yet another go, if you have been a fan of the bachelor or are looking to dip your feet into a new pond, then this will be a good one for you. Who doesn’t like watching scrappy young women compete to win the man of their dreams?
Celebrity Wife Swap: The good old wife swap, a fan favorite to be sure. This time we get to do it with celebrities as we watch these famous wives trade places and are forced to adapt to their new environment.
Dancing with the Stars: When looking for Reality tv programs for 2012 this is a must see. It is by no means a new show but like most reality tv shows it is back for another go in 2012, allowing you to enjoy all the drama, excitement, and of course the dancing.
The Amazing Race: Back again this year we get the privilege of watching various teams race around the world for a million dollars. We get to sit on the side lines and enjoy the various drama and hardships that ensue, all to see who is lucky enough to win that big payday.
American Idol: The hilarious king of reality tv (in my opinion) returns once again this year. All the terrible singers and endless stream of tears are ours to enjoy and laugh about and once the laughter is had we get to sit back and enjoy some real quality singers as they strive to make it big.
Celebrity Apprentice: Once again the amazing Donald Trump returns to lord over his underlings, who themselves happen to be fairly well known. This time around we get to see such celebrities such as Mr. Sulu (Also known as George Takai) and Lisa Lampanelli
Off their Rockers: One of the new Reality tv programs for 2012, this will prove to be one of the best as far as I am concerned. Hosted by the ever amazing Betty White (reason enough right there), it is about a group of senior citizens who prank their successors and prove they still got it. Truly many laughs will be had with this gem.
Reality TV is not for everyone, some can tolerate it, some can’t, and some just outright love it. But if you are looking for some reality tv to keep you busy, these shows are out there just begging to be watched. And even if these do not hold your fancy, there are plenty more where they came from.
